Day 3 in Australia was a bit of an adventure. Preparing for Boot Camp, lunch at Ha Ha Cafe, checking out Canberra from Mount Ainsley, a fashion portrait shoot, and welcome dinner with Canberra and Boot Camp photographers.
I LOVE the name of this cafe!!

My meal was delish!

Christine’s breakfast was yummy too, though it may not appear that way…

Mike’s burger aka “the beast” was a new experience for him. They’re not shy about what they put on burgers here. This has avocado, fried egg, and beets, among other things. This is pretty standard fare in Australia.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day out so after brunch we headed up to Mount Ainsley for a look at the entire city of Canberra.

You can see all of Canberra from here including the old and new Parliament buildings.

Of course we all ended up shooting pics of each other. Christine in action.

The sky looked fake it was so perfect!

They had these super weird looking trees – they looked like they were wrinkled from old age.

Even though I haven’t met you and only know Mike. I sure do like reading about your experiences in your blogs. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

Welcome Down Under =)
Those trees are called Paper Back Tree – if you felt them, they would have felt like rough paper.
I wish I could come to the Boot Camp but I live further up North on the Gold Coast.
Hope you guys are having an awesome time here.
